James H. Collett

Mr. James H. Collett passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his residence. He was 77 years old. James was born April 13, 1944 in Leslie Co., KY., the son of the late, Hamp Napier & Thelma Collett. James had been a resident of Nancy Kentucky for nearly 30 years. By occupation he was a heavy equipment operator & logger. James enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with his children & grandchildren & hunting. He was the (Boss) glue that held his family together. 

James was preceded in death by his father, Hamp Napier, his beloved mother, Thelma Collett Morgan & beloved father that raised him & was always in his life, Ray Morgan, one beloved daughter, Angela Morgan Collett, one treasured grandson, Ethan Caldwell, one sister, Rita Napier Eversole and one brother, Randy Napier. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving & devoted wife, Wanda Bowling Collett, Nancy, KY., one beloved son, James Deray "Jamie" Collett, Stinnett, KY., two beloved daughters, Lynn Bowling & Robert, Stinnett, KY. and Renee Osborne & Teddy, Stinnett, KY., four brothers, Robert Napier, William "Joe" Napier both of Hyden, KY., Roger Dale Napier, Ohio and Richard "Rick" Napier, Stinnett, KY., one sister, Rosita Napier Gaunt, Ohio, seven treasured grandchildren, Aliesha Proffitt & Pete, Chandra Gibson, Nichlos Caldwell & Kayla, Richard Bray & Amanda, Whitney Bray, Macey Morgan(James raised her as his own daughter) & Hunter Deray Collett and six treasured great grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher, Cadon, Aleeah, Isabella and Addison. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church, Asher, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts, Jeffery Hacker, Dallas Nolan and Denver Brock

Interment: Collett Family Cemetery, Stinnett, KY.

Visitation: Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church
