Mr. James Lee Johnson born January 7, 1972 in Lexington, KY., the son of John S. Johnson & Mary Lou Winkle. He passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Lexington, KY. He was 49 years old. James had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was affliated with the Confluence Baptist Church. James enjoyed mechanic work, fishing, boating, camping, riding motorcycles and especially spending time with his children & granddaughter.

James was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emery Johnson & Edith Joseph Johnson, brother, Ray and sister, Shirley. He leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved father, John S. Johnson, beloved mother, Mary Winkle, Indianapolis, IN., 2 beloved sons, Justin Johnson, Hyden, KY. & Tyler Johnson, Winchester, KY., 1 beloved daughter, Tiffany Johnson, Hyden, KY., special friend, Roxanne Eversole, 5 brothers, David Johnson & Patricia, Hazard, KY., John Johnson & Katrina, Indianapolis, IN., Jonathon Johnson & Amanda, Hazard, KY., Owen Johnson, Hyden, KY. and Randall Johnson & Missy Williams, Hyden, KY., 3 sisters, Deanna Reeves, Indianapolis, IN., Vada Hornsby & Doug, Hazard, KY. and Anita Smallwood & Bruce, London, KY., 1 treasured granddaughter, Maggie Marie. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Interment: Huff Cemetery, Confluence, KY.,
