Jewel Dean Adams

Mrs. Jewel Dean Adams, age 77, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was born at Yeaddiss, KY, the daughter of the late Jim Turner and the late Sinda Pennington Turner. By occupation Jewel was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She enjoyed cooking especially making her specialty pumpkin rolls and she also enjoyed gardening.  Her favorite enjoyment came from spending time with her family. Jewel was a member of the Baker Fork Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Corbin, Nick, Henry and Chester, three sisters: Sarah Pennington, Golda Curry, Fannie Estridge and one grandson; Joseph Adams. She leaves surviving the following relatives. Her loving and devoted husband Dill Adams of Yeaddiss, Ky, one beloved son: Ricky Adams and Deah of Lexington, Ky and one beloved daughter: Marsha Richardson and Kevin of Independence, KY, four sisters: Della Asher of Smilax, Ky, Mary Baker of Yeaddiss, Ky, Alpha Jane Adams of Hyden, Ky, and Stella Adams of Yeaddiss, Ky, four cherished grandchildren: Chloee Adams, Sophee Adams, Jonah Adams  and Lukas Richardson.
