Joey Brian Dixon

Joey Brian Dixon passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, Kentucky. He was 49 years old. Joey was born November 16, 1973 in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of the late, Billy Joe Dixon and the late, Mary Day Dixon. He had been a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a truck driver for Electric-Com. Joey enjoyed playing billards, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. 

Joey Brian Dixon was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his sister, Joy Heather. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his cherished son, Joel Tyler Dixon, London, KY, long time companion, Tychennia Davidson, brother, Robert "Robbie" Dixon, Smilax, KY, sister, Tishia Dixon & Johnny Couch, Hyden, KY, aunt, Pam Cornett, niece, Lindsay Gay & Brandon, nephew, Hunter Couch, great niece, Aspyn Gay and a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Services:

Funeral: Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Danny Day

Interment: Day Family Cemetery, Smilax, KY.

Pallbearers: Brandon Gay, Eric Mattingly, Johnny Couch, Rodney Couch and Hunter Couch

Visitation: Thursday March 2nd at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
