John Henry Holland

John Henry Holland, age 93, husband of Betty (Pate) Holland of London, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Curtis Holland, Jerry Holland and wife Patsy, Roy Lee Holland and wife Ethel, Bobby Gene Holland and wife Lillie Mae, and Helen Osborne all of London, Kentucky, and Ruth Collins of New Washington, Indiana; the brother of Mallie Osborne, Ida Gibson, Martha Burns, and Sophia Allen all of London, Kentucky; the step-father of Greg Short and Nika Napier and husband Junie. He was also blessed with twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-five great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Boda (Collins) Holland; by his children, Bonnie Jean, Fred Clement, Noah Junior, and Roger Dean Holland; by his parents, Will and Millie (Collins) Holland; by one grandchild, Daphne Carol Holland; by one great grandchild, Dillion Brock; by his siblings, Tommy Holland, Tilford Holland, Junior Holland, Jimmy Holland, Bessie Jones, Mattie Holland, Betsy Jones, Dora Cheek, and Will Holland, Jr.; by one daughter-in-law, Dorothy Holland; by one son-in-law, Gene Collins. Funeral services for John Henry Holland will be conducted Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at East London Holiness Church, 838 Smith Brewer Road, London, Kentucky with Jerry McKinley Holland, Joe Burns, Charlie Napier, Big Tom Elliott, Richard Long, and Rod Shackleford officiating. Burial will follow at East London Holiness Church Cemetery. The family of John Henry Holland will receive friends at East London Holiness Church after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Serving as pallbearers will be: Bobby D. Holland, Danny Holland, Keith Couch, Johnny Holland, Jason Holland, Colton Holland, Cameron Collins, and Jerry McKinley Holland. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
