Johnny Fouts

Mr. Johnny Fouts, born December 11, 1946 at Cutshin, Kentucky, the son of the late, Sarah Fouts. He passed away, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. He was 75 years old. Johnny had been a life long resident of Leslie County.By occupation he was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, KY. Johnny enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family especially grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sarah Fouts, loving and devoted wife, Shirley, 2 brothers, Ossel Day and Burchell Pennington and 3 sisters, Gracie Sizemore, Belva Turner and Edith Williams. He leaves the followlng relatives surviving; 1 sister, Ruth Ellen Fields & husband, Liville, Hazard, KY., 1 sister-in-law, Elaine Day, Wooton, KY., a special niece, Christine Colwell and a special nephew, Christopher Day. Also a host of other nieces and nephews.

Interment: Day Family Cemetery, Smilax, KY.

Visitation: Sat. July 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
