Judy L. Gilbert

Judy L. Gilbert of Hyden, Ky. passed away at her residence, Monday, June 29, 2020. She was 59 years old. Judy was born December 28, 1960 in Lake Charles, Louisiana the daughter of the late, Jim Gilbert & Betty Jones Gilbert. She had been a resident of Hyden since 1971. By occupation Judy had worked as a ward clerk for the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. She was a faithful & devoted member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church in Hyden. Judy enjoyed traveling, reading, going to yard sales, 4-wheeling & family get togethers. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her precious parents, Jim & Betty Jones Gilbert. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 beloved sons, George Glenn Gilbert, Hyden, KY. & Emanuel Benjamin Mosley & wife, Brittany, Roark, KY., 1 beloved daughter, Lacey Mosley Gibson & Lannie, Hyden, KY., 2 cherished brothers, Lynn Davis & wife, Donna, Hamilton, Ohio & Glenn Gilbert & wife, Donna, Hyden, KY., 1 cherised sister, Kim Jones & husband, Jr., Hyden, KY., special niece, Karleigh Smallwood & 7 treasured grandchildren, Braden Holland, Gracey Wooton, Taegan Mosley, Emery Gilbert, Lucas Mosley, Taesley Mosley & Phoenix Gibson. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Ted Couch & Rev. Jeff Boggs

Interment: Jack Napier Cemetery, Thousandsticks, KY.

Pallbearers: Jim Jones, Josh Smallwood, Brandon Hensley, Marshall Sizemore, Pete Combs, Brandon Baker, Tommy Couch & Craig Ritchie

Visitation: Thursday, July 2, at 6:00-9:00 P.M. & Friday, July 3, at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church
