Judy Rose Gilbert

Judy Rose Gilbert born July 25, 1961 departed this life on Wednesday – April 23, 2025 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky being 63-years old. Judy was born in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ace Gilbert and the late Lola Mae Hoskins Gilbert. Other than her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by two daughters, Lola Marie Collett-Lewis and Helana Shauntae Hoskins; sister, Patsy Howard; brother, George Gilbert; grandchildren, Haile Roseanna and Patrick Samuel; great-granddaughter, Carter Jayde. Judy loved the outdoors, she was crafty doing things and a very selfless person. Judy loved her family and nothing compared to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy Rose Gilbert leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughter, Dena Bowling & Dustin of Hyden, KY; son, Freddie Collett & Melissa of Jabez, KY; two brothers, Ace Gilbert & Kathy of Stinnett, KY and James Gilbert & Helen of Stinnett, KY; 10-grandchildren, 8-great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation will be at the Stinnett Gap Church of God on Saturday – April 26, 2025 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. 

Funeral Service will follow on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Gap Church of God with Geoffery Roberts and Logan Wayne Bowling officiating. 

The Interment will follow in the Gilbert Family Cemetery located at Stinnett, Kentucky. 

The following will serve as pallbearers, Freddie Sam Collett, Landon Hoskins, Dustin Bowling, Casey Jones, Ethan Hoskins, James Dylan Lewis, and Rayland Hoskins.
