Julius Roark

Mr. Julius Roark born October 13, 1945 in Mozelle, KY. He was born to the late, Sarah Ellen & Johnny Roark. He passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was 76 years old. Julius had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living in Ohio for 5 years. By occupation he was a diesel mechanic. Julius was affliated with the Stinnett Gap Church of God & the Mozelle Church of God. He enjoyed his years as a diesel mechanic and later retired to spend his days with his daughters, grandchildren and great grandchild. He spent his years caring for all the people he loved the most. He enjoyed gardening, hot rods, wood working, fish fry's and outdoor views. Julius devoted his life to Christ.

Julius was preceded in death by his beloved parents, his loving & devoted wife of 53 years, Evelyn Hoskins Roark, brother, Clifford Roark, Sister, Juanita Brock, nephews, Joey & Timothy Roark & special friends, J.F. Roark, Hobert Hoskins, Jr. & Joe Williams. He leaves the following relatives surviving; four beloved daughters, Julie Roberts & Doug, London, KY, Teresa Roberts & Jerry, Hyden, KY, Monica Jackson & Shawn, London, KY & Stacey Rodriquez & Anthony, Middlesboro, KY, eight treasured grandchildren, Shannon Roberts & Crystal, Darrell Roberts & Bree, Kendra Bailey & Cody, Kelly Roberts, Taylor Jackson, Cody Jackson, Kelsey Rodriquez & Julian Rodriquez, one treasured great granddaughter, Opal Maeve Bailey & one treasured great grandson to be born & special mention of Papaw's extra grandbabies, McKenzie, Alex & Taylor Washburn. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: 1:00 p.m. -Saturday January 22, 2022 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God, Stinnett, KY.

Interment: Roark Family Cemetery, Mozelle, KY.

Pallbearers: Shannon Roberts, Darrell Roberts, Cody Jackson, Julian Rodriquez, Cody Bailey, Anthony Rodriquez & JC Muncy

Visitation: Friday, January 21, 2022 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
