Katherine "Kathy" Y. Adams

Katherine “Kathy” Y. Adams, age 72 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Hyden, Kentucky on July 20, 1950 the daughter of Denver Adams and Geraldine (Hughes) Adams. Kathy had worked an Independent Insurance Agent, and at Crabtree-Wilson Insurance Agency before her retirement. She was a very faithful member of the Stearns First Baptist Church, where she was a very active member, and she enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren.

Her parents and granddaughter, Shannon Nicole Miller precede her in death.

Survivors include her son, Denver Miller (Nancy) of Somerset, Kentucky; daughter, Kara Stanton (Tim) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Phyllis Gunn of Crossville, Tennessee, Dr. Marilyn Feltner (James) of Wister, Oklahoma, and Carolyn Adams-Robinette (Jim) of London, Kentucky; grandchildren, David Allan Kingsley, Taylor Dean Kingsley, and Courtney Lynn Miller; great grandchildren, Chloe and Ryan; and numerous church family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1pm Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Stearns First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after 11am Thursday at the Church.
