Larry Wayne Begley, Sr., 64, of Verona, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019, at his home.

Born on July 21, 1954, in Hyden, KY. He was the son of the late Bige Sr. and Devadies Begley. He retired from Zumbiel Packaging in Hebron, KY due to his health. Wayne had a passion for fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Among his many talents was his ability to make people laugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bobby Lane Begley, Bige Begley, Jr; twin sister, Lori Jane Begley and sister, Jacqueline Kelly.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bertha Williams Begley of 47 years; beloved son, Larry W. Begley, Jr., of Verona, KY; beloved daughter, Ashley Nicole Begley of Kenosha, WI; six sisters, Bernadine Hoskins of Stinnett, KY, Wilma Jean Fields of Corbin, KY, Kathleen Pace of Hyden, KY, Lucy Couch of Glencoe, KY, Betty Allen of Independence, KY, Tonya Crawford of Crestwood, KY and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 11am-1pm at Hamilton – Stanley  Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral at 1 pm with burial to follow at New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
