Larry Bowling

Larry James Bowling of Yeaddiss, KY. passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at the age of 64. Larry was born November 1, 1954 in Hyden, KY. the son of the late, Gilford Bowling & Maydell Gossage Bowling. Larry had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Beatty Branch Church of God in Christ Jesus at Yeaddiss, KY. His hobbies included, bass fishing, watching his grandson, Zach play football, playing guitar & singing church songs & loved UK basketball.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents & one brother, Danny Gordon Bowling. Larry was blessed with his loving & devoted wife, Norma Jean Gross Bowling of Yeaddiss, KY. his beloved daughter, Monica Marie Bowling Parker & her husband, Mike Parker of Hyden, KY., his beloved son, Chad Bowling of Yeaddiss, KY. & his treasured grandson, Zach Parker of Hyden, KY., one brother, Michael Bowling, of Stanford, KY. & one sister, Judy Bowling Hendrix & her husband, Glen Hendrix of Stanford, KY. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
