Linda Gail Adams

Mrs. Linda Gail Adams, age 70, departed this life on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Lexington, KY. She was born on Jan. 31, 1951 at Beech Fork (Mozelle, KY.) the daughter of the late Carson and Della Muncy Whitehead.   Linda was a life-long resident of Leslie County with the exception of 5 years in Jeffersonville, Indiana having lived in Lexington for the past year.  Linda worked at LKLP Community Action Council, Inc., Hyden office. She was a devoted  member of the Muncy Creek Baptist Church.  Linda  was a member of the Red Bird Arts Council, a very talented painter, quilt-maker & candy maker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her treasured granddaughter, Quincy Marie of Lexington, which she shared the love of painting and art.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her loving & devoted husband of 53 years, Douglas Adams, one brother:  John William "J.B." Whitehead, and one sister: Wanda Sue Whitehead Collett.  She is survived by 2 beloved sons, Anthony Adams (Tena), Lexington, KY and Tobey Adams (Glenda), Lexington, KY, 1 beloved daughter, Robyn Colwell (Chanda), Georgetown, KY., one treasured granddaughter: Quincy Marie Adams, one brother, Carson Douglas Whitehead & Bobbi Jean.
