Linda Harris France

Linda Harris France passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was 71 years old. Linda was born September 8, 1949 at Hazard, KY., the daughter of the late, Denver & Thelma Singleton Harris.  She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. where she was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Linda was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. She enjoyed attending Church, reading her Bible, cooking, quilting, sewing, gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, cherished grandparents who raised her, I.D. Harris & Polly Jane Harris, loving and devoted husband, Colston "C.B." France, infant daughter, Dianna, cherished daughter, Kelly France Lewis, brothers, Logan, Luther, Jewells, Curt, Robert, Cecil and Floyd and sisters, Joyce Sumner and Bessie Caldwell. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 cherished sons, Scott France and Caroline, New Tripoli, PA. and Michael France and Melody, Danville, KY., son-in-law, Brent Lewis, Smilax, KY., 1 brother, K.D. Harris, Yeaddiss, KY., 1 sister, Kathy Shepherd, Hyden, KY., 5 treasured grandchildren, Todd France, Claire France, Morgan France, Kylee Lewis and Bella Lewis. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive. 

Funeral: Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Full Gospel Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY.

Minister: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis

Interment: Harris Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY.

Visitation: Monday, June 7, 2021 at 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Church
