The obituary of Miss Lois Morgan

      Miss Lois Morgan born January 30, 1941 departed this life on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Hyden Health and Rehab.  She was 82 years old.  Lois was born at Wendover, Ky., the daughter of the late Cecil Morgan and Verna Shell Morgan.  Lois was a graduate of Cumberland College receiving her BA and Rank 1 in elementary education.  She had a distinguished career in education.  Lois retired after 19 years of service in the Leslie Co. School System.  She was a member of the Ky. Retired Teachers' Association.  Lois was a devoted member of the Camp Creek Bible Church, Wendover, Ky.  Lois was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Hobart and Coy Morgan and two sisters-in-law, Pearlie Morgan and Juanetta Morgan.  Miss Lois Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving, two cherished brothers, J.G. Morgan of Wendover, Ky., Kenneth Morgan of New Lebanon, Ohio, special niece, Joanie Farler and a host of treasured nieces and nephews.
