Lucy Sizemore

Mrs. Lucy Sizemore born June 11, 1945 at Manchester, KY the daughter of the late, Milton Crawford and Versie Smith Crawford. She passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the St. Joseph of London Hospital. She was 76 years old. Lucy had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Lucy was a retired school teacher for the Leslie Co. Board of Education. She had taught at W.B. Muncy Elementary for 20+ years. She had received her BA from Cumberland College and her Masters Degree from EKU. Lucy enjoyed traveling, reading, watching mystery shows and movies. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving and devoted husband, James Sizemore, brothers, James, Chester, Taylor and Frank Crawford and sisters, Mary Isom and Helen Sizemore. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished daughter, Jolena Sizemore, London, KY, brothers, M.J. Crawford & Linda, IN and Don Crawford & Ruby, FL, sister, Bessie Brown & Jimmy, Manchester, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY

Interment: Sizemore Family Cemetery, Dryhill, KY

Visitation: Sunday, Jan. 30th at 12:00 at the Funeral Home Chapel
