Martha Mae Couch Osborne

Mrs. Martha Mae Couch Osborne, born April 9, 1939 passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. She was 81 years old. Martha was born at Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Sam Couch & Fannie Woods Couch. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Martha was a loving & devoted mother and grandmother. By occupation she had worked at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center at Hyden, KY. & was a foster parent. Martha enjoyed flowers, quilting, riding 4-wheelers, camping & spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was commissioned as a Ky. Colonel.

Martha was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, James Andrew "Andy" Osborne, beloved son, Charles Wayne Osborne, brothers, Elmer, Noah & A.B. Couch & sister, Juanita Couch Roberts. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved daughters, Maggie Bowling & husband, William "Hubby" Bowling, Hyden, KY., Schonia Hensley, Hyden, KY., Thelma Jean Barger, Hyden, KY. & Minna Jean Osborne, Bear Branch, KY., daughter-in-law, Carol Hensley, Oneida, KY., sisters, Elonzia Couch, Bear Branch, KY., Glenna Couch, Bear Branch, KY. & Maude Couch, Ohio, 13 treasured grandchildren, Tonya, Phillip Wayne, Robin, William, Dustin, Valerie, Andrew, Andrea, James, Jonathon, Jordan, Jamie & Jason, special friend, Katie Feltner, 26 treasured great-grandchildren & 1 treasured great-great grandchild. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.  

The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to the Well's Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. for their professional and excellent care provided for their Mother.  Your genuine compassion will never be forgotten!

Funeral: Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Interment: Martha Couch Osborne Family Cemetery, (Hell-Fer-Certain) Hyden, KY.
