Marty Lewis

Mr. Marty Lewis passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. Marty was born on January 28, 1962 at Pine Mountain, KY, the son of the late Logan Lewis, Jr. and the late Bertha Mae Smith Lewis. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and  logger. Marty enjoyed  hunting, fishing and farming as hobbies.  As a teenager, Marty found a love of music and would often play his guitar.  The biggest joy of his life, however, was his daughter, Brittany Rachelle Lewis.  He was so proud of her.  Marty had many friends and was loved by everyone.  To his nieces and nephews, he was the fun uncle. He was always cracking jokes and making everyone smile.  He was someone you wanted to be around and spend time with.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Marty Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Leonard Ray, Larry Richard and Henderson Lee Lewis. He leaves surviving the following relatives: one loving and devoted daughter: Brittany Lewis of Georgetown, KY, two loving sisters: Freda Asher of Winchester, KY and Cindy Roberts of Chappell, KY, four loving brothers: Phillip Lewis, William Lewis, Lester Lewis and Noah Q.
