Marvin R. Morgan

Marvin R. Morgan passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hyden, KY. Marvin was 60 years old.  He was born on March 26, 1963, the son of Edith Napier Morgan and the late Thomas A. Morgan. He was a life-long resident of Leslie County and member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church. 

Marvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. He also enjoyed listening to his CB radio and playing music.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father Thomas A. Morgan, son; Clinton Morgan, and sister; Rhonda Morgan.

Marvin is survived by his beloved mother Edith Napier Morgan of Stinnett, KY, his special sister Tammy Morgan of Sinnett, KY, his daughter Madison Morgan of Virginia, niece; Adria Morgan, nephew; Daniel Morgan and a special great niece; Miley Lewis and special great nephew; Greyson Lewis.  Marvin was also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.

SERVICES:

Visitation services will be held at Stinnett Pentecostal Church in Stinnett, Kentucky, on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 6:00 PM. 

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, under the direction of  James Bowling, Jr. and Jamie Roberts, at 1:00 PM at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church

Following the funeral service, Marvin will be laid to rest in the Napier Family Cemetery in Essie, Kentucky

The following will serve as his pallbearers: Darrell Helton, Rodney Morgan, Nico Lewis, Anthony Morgan, Craig Morgan, Shane Helton and Bryan Collett.
