Mary Edna "Etta Mae" Baker

Mrs. Mary Edna "Etta Mae" Baker passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was 68 years old. Mary was born January 22, 1954 in Leslie County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Steve Causey and Martha Williams Causey. Mary was a loving and devoted homemaker. She was a member of the Wooton Church of Christ, Wooton, Ky. Mary enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and especially loved going to Church and spending time with her family.

Mary is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Steve & Martha Williams Causey, daughter at birth, Mary Martha Baker and sister, Peggy Bales. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Russell Baker, cherished son, Russell Baker, Jr. (Atoshya), Wooton, KY., cherished daughters, Anna Couch (Clint), Rebecca Baker and Samantha Baker and special daughter, Martha Langdon (Jim) all of Wooton, KY., brothers, Norman Causey, Thousandsticks, KY. and Earnest Causey (Nancy), Wooton, KY., sister, Carrie Couch, Wooton, KY., treasured grandchildren, Travis Baker and Ashley Baker and special treasured grandchildren, Shonda Davidson, Hettie Langdon, Jimmy Darrell Langdon, Milburn Williams, Mary Williams, David Langdon and Columbus Langdon. Also a  host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Harold Turner 

Interment: Coots Family Cemetery, Smilax, KY.

Pallbearers: Brady Couch, Jim Langdon, Charles David Hendrix, Manual Baker and Milburn Williams

Visitation: Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
