Mary Jane Burns

Mary Burns of Sizerock, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center at the age of 61. She was born in Delaware, Ohio on March 3, 1958 the daughter of the late Horace Tollett and the late Dovie Hall Tollett.   By occupation Mary Jane was a Pizza Hut Manager and had been a resident of Leslie County since 1999.  She enjoyed crafts, flowers, shopping but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchild and other family members.  Mary Jane Burns was affiliated with the Couch's Fork Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson: Jackson Wayne Howard, sisters: Barbara Sexton, Margie Neace, Betty McKinney, and Reba Danner.  Mary leaves surviving the following relatives her loving and devoted husband: Leon Burns of Sizerock, KY, one son: Leon Burns Jr, (Renee) of Sizerock, KY, two daughters: Amanda Vance (Billy) of Hyden, KY, Nichole Torrence (Cliff) of Sizerock, KY, 13 grandchildren: Chelsey Osborne (Austin), Celeste Gay Terianna Burns, Jayden Burns, Cody Yates, Luke Vance, Destiny Campbell, Izzabella Vance, Joseph Vance, Waylon Howard, Josslyn Vance, Caleb Torrence, and Keagan Torrence, one great grandchild, Natalee Osborne and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. - Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019 at the Couch's Fork Church of God at Bear Branch, KY.

VISITATION:  6:00 p.m. - Sunday- Dec. 8, 2019 and Monday- Dec. 9, 2019 until funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.-Tuesday Dec. 10, 2019 at the church.
