Mary Jane Northern

Mary Jane Couch Northern of London, KY. formerly of Leslie Co. passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her residence in London at the age of 58. Mary was born September 18, 1960 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late Albert Couch & Mary Esther Sizemore Couch. She had been a resident of London for the past 9 years prior to living in Leslie Co. Mary was a loving, homemaker, mother & grandmother. She was a member of the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, KY. & Corinth Baptist Church, London, KY. Mary enjoyed watching tv (especially soap operas), taking care of people & interacting with people but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 1 beloved son, Terry Lee, 1 sister, Phronia Asher, 3 brothers, Jesse James Couch, Curt Couch & Bruce Couch & 1 brother-in-law, Arthur Collett. She leaves the following relatives surviving, husband, John Northern of London, KY., 2 beloved sons, Jimmy Lee Northern & fiance, JoJo of London, KY. & John Robert Northern & fiance, Mary Collett, of London, KY., 1 brother, Chris "Poochie" Couch of Hyden, KY., 1 sister, Carrie Collett of London, KY. & 7 treasured grandchildern, Angel Northern, Nakita Northern, Michael Northern, Paige Northern, Paxton Smith, Prizden Beeler & Bridget Northern, Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, February 23, 2019 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Kevin Napier & Rev. Ryan Osborne

Interment: Earl's Family Cemetery, (Dobber Hollow Road), Hyden, KY.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Northern, Jonathan Northern, Michael Northern, John Northern, Jesse Couch, Shean Belcher & Bill Foster

Visitation: Friday, February 22, 2019 @ 5:00 P.M. at the Church
