The Obituary of Mrs. Mary Gross Roberts

     Mrs. Mary Gross Roberts born October 13, 1925 and departed this life peacefully on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her home in Stinnett, Ky. She was 95 years of age at the time of her passing. Mary was born at Harlan, KY., the daughter of the late, Elihue Gross and the late Elizabeth Howard Gross. She was a loving and devoted homemaker. Mary was employed by the Inland Corporation during WWII in Dayton Ohio. Mary enjoyed singing, gardening, cooking, quilting, growing flowers, spending time with her family and especially going to church. Mary was a faithful member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God since 1947. Mary was a great inspiration to her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary Roberts was preceded in death by her Parents: Elihue and Elizabeth, Husband: Robert; Son: Jonathan; Daughter: Janet; Grandson: Brandon D. Napier; Brothers: Virgil Gross, Chester Gross; Sisters: Priscilla "Siller" Stacy, Irene Roberts and Helen Bowling.

She leaves the following relatives surviving; Sons: William Hoy Roberts & Wilma Jean of Hyden, KY., Oral Roberts & Sandy of Stinnett, KY., Rev. Geoffery Roberts & Christina of Stinnett, KY; Daughters: Dianniah Ruth Feltner & Bill of Burlington, MI., Ruby Melinda Napier & Dennis of Tekonsha, MI., Gwendolyn Morgan & Stephen of Stinnett, KY., Roxanna Combs of Hyden, KY; Brother: William Gross of London, KY; Sisters: Martha Baker of Kingsport, TN., Virgie Roberts of Stinnett, KY., Carolyn Begley of Stinnett, KY; Caregivers over the past five years: Heather Collins, Violet Turner, Sonya Embry, Ethel Turner and Margaret Asher. Mary is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gross Roberts will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God with Rev. Geoffery Roberts, Rev. Micky Roberts and Eugene "Friday" Roberts officiating. There will also be a Eulogy reading by William Hoy Roberts.

The interment will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery at Stinnett, KY.

Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may come for visitation and a singing celebration from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Church
