Matt Brock

Matt Brock born  September 6, 1945 departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, Ky. He was 74 years old.  Matt was born at Saylor, Ky., the son of the late Richard Brock & Chloe LeFevers.  Matt was a former coal miner having operated heavy equipment on strip-mine sites.  He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., Ky., with the exception of living in Chicago, Illinois for a short period of time.  He enjoyed carpentry, being a fix all handyman, riding A.T.V., being in the outdoors & spending time with his family.  Mr. Matt Brock was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Fred Brock & sister, Carolyn Brock.  Mr. Matt Brock leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving and devoted wife, Patricia "Patty" Lucas Brock of Bledsoe, Ky., three beloved sons; Wayne Brock & Christy of Falmouth, Ky., Jamie Brock & Leslie of Tampa, Florida, Hunter Oldham and Heather of Middlesboro, Ky, two beloved daughters; Sonya Burns & Nelson of Florence, Ky., Rosemary Oldham & fiance, Daniel Joseph of Mozelle, Ky.,  three special brothers; Walter Brock and Linda of Harrogate, Tennessee, Charles "Chuck" Brock & Denise of Bledsoe, Ky., Chester Brock & Ruby of Sacramento, California, treasured grandchildren; Tyler Priest, Lance Brock, Jeramy Brock, Zachary Brock, Victoria Brock, Hannah Brock, Olivia Brock, Alyssa Brock, Emma Burns, Abigail Muncy, Connor Muncy, Noah Oldham, Liam Oldham, Arianna Oldham & Eli Oldham, 2 great grandchildren & a host of other relatives and friends survive.  You may send your condolences to the Brock family @dwaynewalkerfuneralhome.com
