Melissa Ann Baker

Mrs. Melissa Ann Baker passed away on Sept 4, 2021 at 69 years of age. She was born November 15, 1951 at Blacky KY to Ezylphia Back Campbell and Step Father James C. Campbell. She spent most of her life in Leslie and Cumberland County, KY. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She loved her church, the Lord, her children, and grandchildren. Her little dogs also meant the world to her. She enjoyed working in her flowers and gardening when she could, also cooking, reading & spending time with her family. She is proceeded in death by her parents James C. Campbell and Ezylphia Campbell, brothers Talbert Fredrick, Avery Gene, and Robert Wayne Campbell. She leaves behind surviving husband, Robert Wayne Baker, children Michael Wayne Baker and Deanna, Berea, KY; Margaret and Dexter Asher, Somerset, KY; Jessica and Dean Burton, Russell Springs, KY. Grandchildren: Sarah Baker, Rachel Baker, Makayla Asher, Jordon Asher. Surviving Brothers: Clarence Campbell and Janice, MI; Woody Campbell and Tina, ILL; Daniel Campbell and Pattie, IN. Surviving Sisters: Twin Shelia B.  and Heatch Jr. Begley., Confluence KY; Louellen Kaster, MI; Wanda and David Taylor, NC; Brenda and Garry Morgan, Stinnett, KY; Amanda and Mickey Roberts, London, KY; Angie and Edmond Morgan, Stinnett, KY. And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Geoffery Roberts and Rev. Mickey Roberts

Interment: Baker Family Cemetery, (Mason Hollow Road), Stinnett, KY.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 8th at 11:00 at the funeral home chapel
