Melissa Lynn Wilder Holland

Melissa Lynn Wilder Holland passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was 49 years old. Melissa was born March 26, 1972 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of Anna C. Abbott Wilder and the late, Bruce Wilder. Melissa had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she had worked as a CNA at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden KY. Melissa was affliated with the Pentecostal Faith. She enjoyed quilting, painting, puzzles, camping, fishing and especially loved spending time with her family.

Melissa was preceded in death by her beloved father, Bruce Wilder, one brother, Dale Widner and one nephew, Gregory Parker. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved mother, Anna C. Abbott Wilder, Sizerock, KY., 2 beloved sons, Bruce Davidson, Somerset, KY. and Tensley Davidson, Hyden, KY., eight treasured grandchildren, Alyssa, Maddie, Peyton, Liam, Braiden, Austin, Kealee and Arianna and seven sisters, Jeanette Grimes and Michael France, Hyden, KY., Venice Soard, Hyden, KY., Ashley and Jake Sizemore, Richmond, KY., Sharon Hatfield, Manchester, KY., Karen and Willie Lawson, Manchester, KY., Cassie and Mark Roberts, Manchester, KY. and Patricia and James Asher, Manchester, KY. and a  Special Niece, Sophia Harper Sizemore. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Charlie Collins and Jacob Sizemore

Interment: Wilder Family Cemetery, (Leslie Co. Game Reserve), Hyden, KY.

Pallbearers: Taylor Widner, Robert Davidson, Jacob Sizemore, Michael France, Wayne McBride and William Widner

Visitation: Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. with additional services at 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
