Melvin Thomas, Jr.

Mr. Melvin Thomas, Jr.  passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Carrolton, KY. He was 46 years old. Melvin was born, July 8, 1975 in Louisville, KY, the son of Melvin Thomas, Sr. and the late, Joan Sutherland Thomas. Melvin had been a resident of Carrolton, Kentucky for the past five years. By occupation he had worked in a auto parts factory. Melvin was affliated with the Ministry of Fire Church in Crestwood, KY. He enjoyed derby racing cars, fishing and spending time with his family.

Melvin is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Joan Sutherland Thomas. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Susan Adams Thomas, Carrolton, KY., beloved father, Melvin Thomas, Sr., McKee, KY., three cherished daughters, Spring Cowell, Jasmine Thomas and Melaine Thomas, sisters, Joyce Hearne, Carrolton and Tammy Ayers, McKee, KY. & treasured grandchildren, Jonathan Cowell and David Cowell. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Adams Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY. at 11:00 with Brian Hubbard officiating. There will be food and fellowship at the Rockhouse Baptist Church in Hyden, KY. at 1:00 P.M.
