Mildred Howard

Mrs. Mildred Asher Howard of East Bernstadt, KY. formerly of Wooton, KY. passed away Monday, October 12, 2020. She was 82 years old. Mildred was born December 4, 1937 in Leslie Co., KY., the daughter of the late, Lawrence Asher & Polka Bowling Asher. Mildred had been a resident of Laurel Co. for the past 20 years. She was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, crocheting & her dog, Chloe.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Rodrick Asher & wife, AnnaLee, Vetch Asher & wife, Hattie, George Asher and wife, Norma Jean, & Jeffery C. Asher. She leaves the following relatives surviving; her loving & devoted husband of 65 years,  Leihman Howard, East Bernstadt, KY., 1 beloved son, Leihman Howard, Jr. & wife, Debbie, East Bernstadt, KY., 2 beloved daughters, Kathy Hanes & husband, Donnie, Ranson, West Virginia & Vickie Lynn Adams & husband, Kenneth, Wooton, KY., 5 treasured grandchildren, Tina Sheppard & husband Johnny, Bryan Anders& wife Sarah, Steven Adams, Christina Wilder & Dean & Brandon Howard & Chasity, 22 treasured great grandchildren & 18 treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, October 16, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Ronnie "Butch" Pennington

Interment: Ky. Veterans Cemetery Southeast, Hyden, KY.

Pallbearers: Steven Adams, Brian Anders, Brandon Howard, Dylan Caldwell, Johnny Shepphard & Denton Asher

Visitation: Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
