Monroe Couch

Monroe “PapaRoe” Couch, born March 4, 1940 went home to be with the Lord March 14, 2022.

Monroe is preceeded in death by his loving parents Arvil and Gladys Couch, his brothers Billy Harold Couch and Tensley “Ducky” Couch, his best friend and banjo brother Raymond Burton and the mother of his children, Irene Everhart.

Monroe, a godly man believed in helping thy neighbor.

Monroe will be greatly missed by loved one and all who were blessed to meet him. He is survived by his children Trina and Leonard Conner, of Comensneil, TX, Doug and Krystal Couch of Navasota, TX, Robert and Sherry Couch of Sizerock, KY, Ericka and Elias Rameriz of Houston, TX, Tara and Michael Taylor of Baytown, TX, Jeff and Tracee Couch of Nancy, KY. His sisters, Geneva Sizemore of Lily, KY and Lily Carol Carter of Cincinnati, OH. His long time friend and companion Lonzie and her daughter Pam.

A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral: Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Jerry Rice

Interment: Collins Family Cemetery, Bear Branch, KY

Pallbearers: Clayton White, Tyler White, Colten Couch, Dane Conner, Charles Couch and Thomas Couch

Honorary Pallbearers: Cory Conner, Dillon Neagle and JD Couch

Visitation: Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY
