Nancy Ruth Mattingly

Nancy Ruth Sizemore Mattingly passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was 84 years old. Nancy was born June 21, 1937 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, John Taylor Sizemore & Sally Asher Sizemore. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Nancy was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, working puzzle books, watching game shows on TV and especially loved spending time with her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving and devoted husband, Bernard Mattingly, one beloved daughter, Elsie and a host of brothers & sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 3 beloved sons, Lincoln Mattingly, Wade Mattingly and Victor Mattingly all of Hyden, KY., 3 beloved daughters, Norma Lowe and Jay, Hyden, KY., Sally Jones and Sherman, Somerset, KY. and Jackie Lowe, Hyden, KY., 10 treasured grandchildren, Jessica (Brandon), Douglas, Brian, Melissa, Trista (Jason), Amanda, Eric, Jennifer (James), Sheryl and Tori (Jacob), 20 treasured great grandchildren and a host of treasured great great grandchildren, a special son-in-law, Gene Morgan and a special friend, Earl Lowe. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Keith Bowling

Interment: Bernard Mattingly Family Cemetery at Stinnett, KY.

Visitation: Thursday, July 22, at 12:00 P.M. until time of funeral service at the Funeral Home Chapel
