Nancy Woods

Mrs. Nancy Woods of Warsaw, KY. formerly of Leslie Co. was born, December 16, 1932. She was born at Dryhill, KY., the daughter of the late, Price Woods & Maggie Estridge Woods. Nancy passed away at her residence Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the age of 87. Nancy had been a resident of Warsaw since 2010. She was a loving, mother, grandmother & homemaker. Nancy was a member of the Anna C. Brush Memorial United Presbyterian Church at Dryhill, KY. She enjoyed cleaning & spending time with her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, infant child, one daughter: Brenda Hoskins, one sister: Nora Rice & brothers: Mark, Paul & Edd Woods. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 1 beloved son: Dean Woods (Brenda), Hyden, KY., 1 beloved daughter: Joyce Begley (Walton), Warsaw, KY., 4 treasured grandchildren: Jennie Dean (Billy), Crystal Begley, Kenny Woods (Cher) & Valerie Kelly (Nina) & 8 treasured great grandchildren & 3 treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Keith Bowling

Interment: Keen-Woods Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Pallbearers: Jordan Begley, Brett Dean, Kenny Woods & Dean Woods

Visitation: Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
