Norma Sue Lewis Dixon, a beloved resident of Wooton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 16, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on August 10, 1935, in Wooton, Norma was a cherished member of her community and a devoted family matriarch.
Norma's life was marked by a deep commitment to her family and a genuine love the simpler joys in life. She enjoyed cooking and canning, taking pride in creating meals that brought her loved ones together around the dinner table. Her fondness for reading and country music provided her with moments of personal joy, but it was the time spent with her family that she treasured the most.
As a proud member of the Wooton Presbyterian EPC, Norma was not only devoted to her faith but also to the friendships and connections she fostered within her church community. Her spirit and warmth touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Norma is survived by her son, Larry Wayne "Bear" Dixon, as well as her grandsons Christopher Todd Dixon, Chester Brian Scott Dixon (April) and Jared Randall Turner. She was also the proud grandmother of seven great-grandchildren, who will carry on her legacy of kindness and love.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Dixon, and her daughters, Delania Kay and Deborah Ann. She was also welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, John C. Lewis and Mary Turner Lewis, along with a host of siblings.
Norma Sue Lewis Dixon will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her dedication to family, and the countless beautiful memories she created throughout her life. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Grave-side service Thursday November 21, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dixon Family Cemetery at Wooton Kentucky with Brian Overbee officiating.
