Oultia Napier Garrison

Mrs. Oultia Napier Garrison, born April 18, 1921 in Clay Co, KY. the daughter of the late, Boyd Napier & Mary Jane Hensley Napier. She passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at the age of 98 years, 11 months & 25 days. Oultia was a loving homemaker, wife, mother & grandmother. She had been a resident of Leslie Co. most of her life. Oultia loved her singing group, going 4-wheeler back in the game reserve and Gilbert's Creek. She loved providing for her family. She looked forward to her Sunday dinners. She made delicious and beautiful dishes. She loved going to her "Garrison Pond". She loved her family. She and her husband, Marcus always looked forward to their son, Roy Lee stopping by for coffee before he went to work. She loved working in her flower & vegetable gardens, quilting, going to watch her family play ball, working with pottery & making molasses with her family & friends. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Mr. Marcus Garrison, 1 beloved son, Roy Lee Garrison, 1 treasured grandson, Michael Wayne Smith, 1 treasured great grandson, Randy Garrison, 3 sons-in-law, Vernon Raye Smith, Ray Slusher & Randy Morgan & a infant brother, Monroe Napier, 6 other brothers, McKinley Napier, Joe Bryd Napier, John Henry Napier, George Ward Napier, Tom Napier & Hamp Napier & 2 sisters, America Napier Morgan & Nancy Napier Roberts. She is survived by 3 beloved sons, John Wayne Garrison & his wife, Lois of Essie, KY., Ronald Garrison & his wife, Merinda of London, KY. & Greg Garrison & his wife, Teena of Stinnett, KY., 2 beloved daughters, Kaye V. Garrison Smith Slusher of Stinnett, KY. & Helen Garrison Morgan of Hyden, KY., 14 treasured grandchildren, Shawn Garrison, Eddie Dean Smith, Sherry Gail Smith Maggard, Deidre Morgan May, Sonja Garrison Slusher, Ashley Garrison, Robbie Garrison, Roy Lee Garrison, Jr., Trent Garrison, Gregory Ryan Garrison, Kendra Garrison Roberts, Melissa Tackett,  April Rice Asher & Teeyona Cornett Burkhart, 16 treasured great grandchildren, Kelsey, Marcus, Michael, Tabatha, Tyler, Jared, Haley Grace, Tara, Kennedy, Billy, Paige, Nicholas, Mallie, Addy, Megan & Sydney & 8 treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of treasured nieces & nephews survive.
