Pamela Kilburn Shepherd

Mrs. Pamela Kilburn Shepherd, 76 of Somerset, passed from this life on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Hyden, KY on January 18, 1949 the daughter of Bill and Dolly Clark Kilburn. She had been a billing supervisor for Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital in Hyden and was a member of Olive Branch Church of Mt. Vernon, where she volunteered often and loved praying for everyone. She enjoyed going out to eat and going to yard sales.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Shepherd of Wooten; two sons: Wayne Colyer and wife Pam of Morehead, and Shannon Shepherd and wife Brenda of Wooten; two daughters: Devenna Colyer Bales of Somerset, and Kellie Smith and husband Anthony of Berea; her grandchildren: Paige Shepherd, Lyndsey Shepherd, Anthony Thomas Smith, Lacie Haynes, Dakota McGehee, Cody Smith, Austin Smith, Madison Smith, Jay Bales, Joshua Bales, Carrie Colyer, and Waylon Colyer; and her great grandchildren: Hazel, Easton, Jayda, Blaze, Olivia, Boone, and Hudson. Many special nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Kilburn.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 22 at 11:00 AM at the Olive Branch in Renfro Valley by Bro. Shannon Parkerson. Burial will follow in the Browning Cemetery, 2nd Fork Rd., Wooten, KY 41776.
