      Patricia Mullins Chappell born August 20, 1956  departed this life on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the University of KY Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  She was 67 years old .Patricia was born at Beverly, KY, the daughter of Dora Jean Douglas.  Patricia graduated from Red Bird High School. Patricia had a very distinguished work career.  She was an assistant to Ms. Kate Ireland at the Frontier Nursing Service and also was employed by the State of KY as a toll attendant on the Hal Rogers Parkway.  Patricia received her associate degree and was employed as a medical transcriptionist at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center.  Patricia was a member of the Flat Creek Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Craig Sizemore and Ray Douglas.  Patricia Mullins Chappell leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted mother, Dora Jean Douglas of Spring Branch Rd., Big Creek, KY., one cherished son, Jason Chappell and wife, Leigh-Ann, of Corbin, KY., two beloved brothers, Brent Douglas &  Ben Douglas, three beloved sisters. Pamela Sizemore and husband, Tony of Lower Spring Branch Rd., Big Creek, KY.,  Gina Asher of London, KY & Hollena Douglas of Clinton, TN. & three treasured grandchildren, Cade Chappell, Emma Chappell & Jay Madden Chappell. A host of nieces, nephews & other relatives also survive.
