Paul Mitchell, age 76, of Goose Rock, KY passed away Saturday March 30th, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Hospital.Paul was a member of the Garrard Holiness Church and a former employee of E. C. Howard Trucking and Shamrock Coal Company.Paul is survived by his wife Bessie Carol Mitchell and one son Rev. Paul J. Mitchell both of Goose Rock.He is also survived by two brothers Orville Mitchell and R. B. Mitchell and one special friend Lonzo Smith as well as 21 nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.He is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Dorothy Mitchell and one brother Carl Mitchell and two sisters Bonnie Sizemore and Jewell Myers.The funeral service for Paul will be held 2 PM Thursday April 4th, 2019 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Lane Woods, Dudley Lynch, Tim Finley, Don Hubbard, Charlie Hubbard, Ronnie Brown, Youel Napier, Lyle Sizemore, and Amos Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery at Goose Rock. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home. Britton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
