Phoebe Caldwell

Mrs. Phoebe Caldwell passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Baptist Health Corbin, Corbin, KY., at the age of 70 years old. She was born on Sept. 13, 1951 at Beverly, KY the daughter of the late Mitchell Brock and the late Martha Muncy Brock. By occupation Phoebe was a former employee of the Leslie County Senior Citizens Program and was a dedicated homemaker.  She was affiliated with the Middlefork United Methodist Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Phoebe enjoyed traveling as a hobby but she especially cherished her time spent with her family. Phoebe was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Janet Denise Sparks, three sisters: Sharon Brock, Della Mae Brock and Ethel Jean  Howard. Phoebe leaves surviving the following relatives: her beloved husband of 57 years, Mr. Hollis W. Caldwell of Helton, KY. whom she was united in matrimony on Sept. 20, 1964. Pheobe is also survived by her cherished son: Dana Caldwell & Angelia of Helton, KY, two beloved brothers: Bruce Brock & Lorna of Michigan, Michael Brock & Shantel of Hyden, KY, two beloved sisters: Sue Lewis & Eddie of Bledsoe, KY, and Bertha Bailey of Indiana, one cherished granddaughter: Kinsey. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. - Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home at Hyden, KY.

VISITATION: 1:00 p.m.-Tuesday, August 9, 2022 until funeral hour at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel.

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Rye Cove Cemetery at Warbranch, KY
