Raleigh 'Frog' Couch of Bear Branch, Kentucky, passed away on January 31, 2025 at his home in Leslie County. Frog was born on April 13, 1942 in Hyden, the son of the late, Hargis and Mae Couch. Frog had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a retired state employee having retired after 27 years of dedicated service. He was affiliated with the Couch's Fork Church of God and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and riding his side-by-side.
Frog was preceded in death by his parents: Hargis and Mae Couch, one son: Timmy 'Tadpole' Couch; one grandson: Tommy Wilkins; two brothers: Wayne Couch and Millard Couch; two sisters: Wilma Couch and Thelma Couch Sizemore and one great-grandson: Drake Bowling.
He leaves the following relatives surviving: the mother of his children: Elounzia Couch; one son: Tony 'Tadpole' Couch of Bear Branch; one daughter: Pam Jones (Jamie) of Bear Branch; one brother: Jimmy 'Crow' Couch of London, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Timmy Wilkins (Jordan), Sylvia Bowling (Dewayne), Shaina Jackson, James Raleigh Jones (Holly), Jaden Couch, Brittany Michelle Collins. His great-grandchildren: Lelyn Bowling, Abri Jackson, Harper Smith, Briana Bowling, Cooper Raleigh Jones, and Winnie Wilkins. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, KY.
