      Mr. Ray Napier born December 24, 1959 departed this life on Monday, June 15, 2020 at this residence in Hyden.   He was 60 years old. Ray was born in Leslie Co., the son of the late Jim Napier & Isabelle Rice Napier.  Ray was a retired coal miner, having been employed by Blue Diamond Coal Co.  He was affiliated with the Church of God.  Ray was an avid University of Ky. sports fan & enjoyed watching their games.  Ray's greatest joy came from spending time with his family.  Ray was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., residing at Hyden, Ky. at the time of his death.  Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Burchel, Claude Edward, sisters; Donna Faye & Shirley Ann.  Mr. Ray Napier leaves the following relatives surviving:  his loving and devoted spouse of 31 years, Polly Jane Hacker of Hyden, Ky.,  two beloved daughters; Kandy Adams & Roger of London, Ky., Tonya Asher & Hershel of Hyden, Ky., sisters; Kathy "Cap" Napier of Hyden, Ky., Joan Napier of Hyden, Ky., special double first cousin; Pat Rice,  treasured granddaughters; Ariana Begley & Josey, Alexia Asher, special friend; Josephine Hudson, special niece; Jessie Harris, special nephew; Rodney Osborne, nephews; Heydranne Whitehead, James Clinton Lewis, nieces; Lisa Lewis, Megan Joseph, Ashley Raye Napier, great nieces; Mariah Raye Napier, Olivia Hope Harris, Marissa Lewis, great nephew; Tate Harris & a host of other relatives and friends.
