Ray Sizemore

SIZEMORE, Ray age 91 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully June 29, 2024 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Born February 28, 1933 in Hyden, Kentucky, Ray was the son of William and Georgia (neeBegley) Sizemore and was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Ray was the last of twelve children and was orphaned when his mother passed when he was 14. Ray retired from the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville with 31.5 years of service. Ray was a member of the Family Life Church in Lebanon and the Masonic Lodge in Morrow. During his spare time, Ray enjoyed Fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, siblings Owen, Lige, Charlie, Logan, William, Jr., Eva, Oza, Mae, Elizabeth and Edna and son-in-law Don Barnett; Ray leaves behind his loving wife of 69 years Betty (nee Valentine) Sizemore, children Terri Barnett. Robert (Pat) Sizemore and Georgia Mae Sizemore; grandchildren Lori Toedtman, Julie Byrd, Liza Sizemore, Owen Sizemore and Eva Yeager; great-grandchildren Kyle, Levi, Shelby, Josh, Garrett, Logan, Perry, Ari, Brady, Charlie and Ellie; great-great grandchildren Liam, Novia and Brynlee and many other family members, friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, July 2, 2024 from 5pm until 7pm at the Stine Funeral Home of Lebanon. 

A gathering for family & friends will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY. Interment will follow
