Robert Alan Hornsby

Robert Alan Hornsby passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 61. Robert was born April 29, 1957 in Hazard, KY., the son of the late, James Pearl Hornsby, Jr. & Nannie Wooton Hornsby. Robert had been a life-long resident of Hyden, KY. By occpuation he was a coal miner, also Robert was a Veteran serving  honorably in the U.S. Navy(Peace-time). He enjoyed playing cards & watching old movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves the following relatives surviving, 2 beloved sons, Robert Hornsby II & Yelanda of Wooton & Matthew Ryan Hornsby of Richmond, KY., 1 beloved daughter, Amanda Marie Barnett & Jonathon of Hazard, KY.,  3 sisters, Pam Hensley of Hyden, KY., Nancy France & Terry of Wooton, KY. & Marion Asher & Zandall of Winchester, KY., 3 brothers, Doug Hornsby & Vada of Hazard, KY., James P. Hornsby of Hazard, KY. & Russell Hornsby & Ada of Hyden, KY. & 3 treasured grandchildren, Robert James Hornsby, Abigail Marie Barnett & Peyton Grace Barnett. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Thursday, January 31, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister:

Donald Enfusse

Interment:

Macedonia Cemetery, Burning Springs, KY.
