Robert Nantz

Mr. Robert Nantz of Helton, KY. passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was 89 years old. Robert was born May 7, 1932 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Jim Nantz & Susie Jane North Nantz. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Robert was a retired coal miner, farmer & an employee for the Leslie Co. Senior Citizens. He was affliated with the Church of God. Robert enjoyed gardening, farming & spending time with his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents, beloved sons, Jimmy Nantz & Randall Nantz, brothers, Virgil, Frank, Ed, Elzie & Fred Nantz and sisters, Mattie Bell Roark, Nell Cardin, Mae McCrobie, Mary Whitehead & Jean McCrobie. He leaves the following relatives surviving; mother of children, Golda Nantz, 3 beloved sons, Gary Nantz & Rose, Mozelle, KY., Jackie Nantz, Helton, KY. & Elzie Nantz, Helton, KY., 1 beloved daughter, Susan Ann Nolan, Bledsoe, KY., 12 treasured grandchildren & a host of treasured great & great-great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Graveside Service: Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Nantz Family Cemetery, Helton, KY.

Minister: Rev. Denver Brock

Visitation: Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
