Rosie Lee Jones

Mrs. Rosie Lee Gibson Jones, 74 passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital in Manchester, KY. Rosie Lee was born April 8, 1945 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Raymond Gibson & Edna Sizemore Acey. Rosie Lee had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living in Ohio for a short period of time. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & sister. Rosie Lee was a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church in Hyden, KY. She enjoyed crafts & cooking but her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren & doing for others.

Rosie Lee was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Eddie Carl & Bobby Ray Gibson & 1 sister, Annie Gibson Walters. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband, Vernon Buster Jones of Sizerock, KY., one beloved daughter, Teresa Woods(Doug) of Oneida, KY., one beloved son, Bobby Jones(Diane "Dee Dee") of Sizerock, KY., 1 brother, Jay Acey(Sue) of Ohio, 2 sisters, Jacklyn Bennett of Ohio & Sue Husser of St. Louis, MI., 5 treasured grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Dustin Woods(Brandy), Lashaunna Woods, Leanna Jones & Sonya Jones & 3 treasured great grandchildren, Maci Woods, Kenzie Woods & Cooper Woods. Also a host of nieces, nephews & cousins survive.

Funeral: Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Ted Couch & Rev. Kevin Napier

Interment: Sizemore-Gibson Cemetery, (Dobber Hollow Road), Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. & Monday, February 3, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church
