Mrs. Rushie Fee Collett was born on February 19, 1933 at Roark, Ky the daughter of the late Bradley and Nancy Napier Fee. She went to her heavenly home on February 17, 2021. She was 87 years old. Rushie worked at Red Bird Hospital for over 30 years in different areas. She lived in Leslie county in the Red Bird Area all of her life. Rushie enjoyed going to church, gardening, canning, making quilts and talking to family and friends. She loved having big meals with the family. She made the best biscuits and chicken and dumplings. She always kept busy doing something. She looked forward to spring and summer. Sitting in the warm sunshine made her so happy. She was a precious person and will be deeply missed.
Rushie was preceded in death by her parents Bradley and Nancy Napier Fee. Son: Bobby Ray Collett, Brothers: Elmer, Ewel, Buford, Granville and Herman. Sisters: Zelphia, Clefith and infant sister Vinna. Great granddaughter: Donielle Swafford & father of children, Bobby Collett.
She leaves the following relatives. Son: Ernest Collett (Tammy) of Warbranch, Ky. Daughter: Brenda Collett of Warbranch, Ky. Brother: Hershel Fee (Cindy) of Indiana. Sister: Ruby Wyman (Jim) of Indiana. 5 Grandchildren: Tabitha Noinaj (Nick), Nancy Collett (Amando Juarez), Matthew Collett, Anthony Collett (Becky) and Patricia Collett (Vernon Swaffard). 9 Great Grandchildren: Mildred, Natasha, Timothy, Thomas, Yamila, Nova, Brayden, Cameron, and Haley. 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Jensley and Layne. Many other treasured relatives and friends survive.
Ernest and Tammy want to thank the nurses at Mary Breckinridge for taking such good care of her. She loved them all.
Funeral: Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Interment: Fee Family Cemetery, (Pup's Branch), Warbranch, KY.

Visitation: Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral at the funeral home chapel
