Sandra Causey

Sandra Causey, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at Well's Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. She was born on November 1, 1957, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and she lived a life marked by love, resilience, and dedication to her family.

A devoted mother, Sandra is survived by her three daughters, Della Adams, Melissa Begley, and Jennifer Causey. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tyler Begley (Kayla), Konner Begley (Elese), Madison Begley, Jacob Kilburn (Kacee), Cameron Adams, Aiden Coleman, and Novaleigh Causey. She also cherished her great-grandchildren, Braylee Kilburn and Jathan Kilburn, who brought her endless joy.

Sandra is remembered fondly by her siblings, including her brother, Donnie Reinert, and her sister, Denise Wetmore, who stood beside her through life’s many journeys.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Wayne Reinert and Della Sams, along with her sister, Donna Rodriguez. Their memories will forever be intertwined with the love and warmth she shared with those around her.

As a beloved figure across generations, Sandra’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories that will be cherished forever.

Funeral: Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Minister: Russell Baker

Interment: Whispering Pines Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY.

Pallbearers: Jacob Kilburn, Tyler Begley, Konner Begley, Cameron Adams, Willie Adams, Aiden Coleman and Josh Hensley

Honorary Pallbearers: Donnie Reinert and Kenny Wooton

Visitation: Friday, March 28th at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
