Sharon K. Hopson

Mrs. Sharon K. Hopson passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the Well's Hospice Center. She was 66 years old. Sharon was born June 6, 1956 in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Bruce Mosley and Zola Roberts Mosley. Sharon was a life-long resident of Leslie County and graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. Sharon was a former legal secretary for Phillip Lewis Law Firm many years. She enjoyed camping. Sharon was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She was a very genuine and  humble person whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.  Sharon prioritized being involved and sharing in the lives of her family and made many sacrifices to insure their well-being.   Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bruce and Zola Mosley, cherished son, Joey Hopson, two brothers, R.B. and Roger Mosley, nephew, Christopher Blake Sizemore, niece, Carla Hopson & favorite minister, Paul Kevin Napier. She leaves the following relatives surviving; husband, Frank Hopson, Jr., Somerset, Kentucky, cherished son, Jon Hopson (Megan), Oak Ridge, Tennessee, cherished daughter, Kendra Hopson Coots (Brandon), Yeaddiss, Kentucky, beloved brother, Larry Mosley, Hyden, Kentucky, beloved sister, Sue Mosley, Louisville, Kentucky, three treasured grandchildren, Colton Hopson, Kamree Coots and Ellie Kay Hopson, two nieces, Sasha Hopson, Zoey Mosley, three nephews, Joshua Sizemore, Matthew Sizemore, Eddie Hopson, brother-in-law, Ray Hopson (Viola), Somerset, Kentucky, two best friends, Jackie Cain and Paula Cornett and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Ministers: Brian Hubbard and Michael Turner

Interment: Coots Cemetery, Yeaddiss, Kentucky
