Stella Turner Adams, a retired florist who was widely known for her passion for floral arrangements, passed away on July 23, 2024 She was born on March 20, 1946, in Leslie County, Kentucky, to her beloved parents, James & Sinda Pennington Turner. Stella dedicated her life to providing beautiful blooms for special occasions through her own successful business.
In addition to her successful career, Stella enriched the lives of those around her with her hobbies and interests. She found joy in cooking, tending to her flower garden, exploring the mountains, discovering dry land fish, and most of all, cherishing moments with her adored grandchildren.
Stella was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James & Sinda Pennington Turner, loving and devoted husband, Dean Avery Adams, who shared many wonderful years with her. She also reunited in eternity with a host of special brothers and sisters. Their memories will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who knew them.
Stella leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories that will be forever treasured by her surviving family and friends. Among them are cherished Son Richard Adams & wife Dawn, cherished Daughter Jowanna Day (Ricky), two special sisters Della Asher and Mary Baker. Additionally, she leaves behind six treasured grandchildren: Tyler Adams (Harley), Alexis Maggard (Austin), Madison Mitchell, Kendra Mitchell, Amanda Brock (Stevie), and Matthew Day (Crystal), as well as six treasured great-grandchildren: Everly Kate, Adalyn, Rylee, Kiana, Ariana, and Hunter. Alongside them are a host of other relatives and friends who will continue to honor Stella's memory.
The Funeral Service will take place Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hazard Village Church of Christ 882 Dawahare Drive in Hazard, Kentucky.

Interment: Adams Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY.
Pallbearers: Tyler Adams, Austin Maggard, Joseph Morgan, Ricky Adams, Nathaniel Morgan and Jared Simpson
The visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2024 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at the Church.
Stella's kindness, creativity with flowers, and dedication to family will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
