Tammy Lavonne Mendez

Tammy Lavonne Mendez passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the age of 49. She passed away at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Tammy was born September 20, 1971 at Hyden, KY., the daughter of James Harold Osborne & Irene Lewis. Tammy had been a resident of East Bernstadt for the past 15 years. She was an employee trainer coordinator for Cracker Barrel Restaurants. Tammy enjoyed painting, reading, Willie Nelson & her pets.  Tammy's family described her as selfless, the glue which held the family together and a fighter. She was loved by family, friends, co-workers & all she came in contact with!

Tammy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Denver & Gracie Lewis & paternal grandparents, Curtis & Nellie Osborne. She leaves the following relatives surviving; father, James Harold Osborne, London, KY., loving & devoted mother, Irene Lewis, Johnson City, TN., fiance', Tim Hockensmith, Nicholasville, KY., beloved son, Dakota Mendez, East Bernstadt, KY., 2 beloved daughters, Sasha Farmer & Erik, East Bernstadt, Ky. & Nikki Sizemore, London, KY., 3 brothers, Jody Osborne & Toni, London, KY., Jeremy Thompson & Tara, Danville, KY. & Sean Thompson, Detroit, MI. & 6 treasured grandchildren, Makayla Hammock, Hailey Hammock, Brayden Hammock, Dalton Hammock, Eli Sizemore & Gracie Sizemore. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
