Teddy R. Browning

Mr. Teddy R.  Browning passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital at the age of 69. Ted was born January 20, 1951 in Verner, West, VA., the son of the late, Emmett & Olive Browning. Ted had been a resident of Hyden, Ky., for the past 31 years, coming from Gilbert, West VA. By occupation he had been a coal miner for 26 years & mining operator for 4 years & for the past 20 years he had been the owner & operator for Ted's Trading Post in Hyden, KY. Ted was affliated with the Hyden Church of God in Hyden, KY. Ted enjoyed hunting, guns, 4-wheeling, gardening & being outdoors.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett & Olive Browning. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Shelia Browning of Hyden, KY., 2 beloved sons,  Bradley Emmett Browning of Cleveland, OH. & Eric Browning (Johna) of Hyden, KY.,  3 beloved daughters, Desirae Evans of Indianapolis, IN., Olive Denise Browning of Hyden, KY. & Scarlett Browning of Hyden, KY., 1 brother, Emmett Browning, Jr. (Debi) of Clearfork, West VA., 3 sisters, Sonja Brown (Lonnie) of Gilbert, West VA., Kay Bryant (Jay) of Gilbert, West VA. & Colleen Mounts (Rick) of Gilbert, West VA., 12 treasured grandchildren,  Madalin Sammons, Amanda Hatfield (Michael), TJ Browning, Madi Browning, Bradley Browning, Jr., Dalton Browning, Cutter Browning, Taylor Browning, Ava Browning, Olivia Evans, Nick Evans & Gracie Evans & 3 treasured great-grandchildren, John, Brantley & Carson. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Verner Community Church in Verner, West, VA.

Minister: Rev. Walter Grimmett

Pallbearers: Eric Browning, Bradley Browning, Dalton Browning, TJ Browning, Nick Evans, Cutter Browning & Bradley Browning, Jr.

Visitation: Friday, January 31, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
