Thelma Rae Morgan

Mrs. Thelma Rae Morgan, 91 passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. Thelma was born June 15, 1929 at Confluence, KY., the daughter of the late, Lute Colwell & Martha Fields Colwell. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living at East Bernstadt for the past few years. Thelma was a devoted member of the Hyden Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, making purses, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Albert Langdon & Joe Morgan, beloved son, Don Ray Langdon, beloved daughters, Velma Roberts & Kimberly Langdon, daughters-in-law, Imogene Langdon & Lori Langdon, treasured grandchildren, Roger Holman, Renee Eldridge & Patricia Langdon & a host of brothers & sisters. She is survived by 3 beloved sons, Dale Langdon & Sally, Busy, KY., Stanley Langdon & Rose, Spring, Texas & Donnie Langdon, Knott Co., KY., 3 beloved daughters, Carol Brown & Jr., Romulus, Michigan, Vickie Holman & Roy, Versailles, IN. & Debbie Howard & Leihman, Jr., East Bernstadt, KY., 20 treasured grandchildren, 32 treasured great grandchildren & 6 treasured great-great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Friday, August 7, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Pastor Wayne Bowling

Interment: Woods Cemetery, Thousandsticks, KY.

Pallbearers: Ricky Dale Brown, Brandon Howard, Ayden Langdon, Cole Engel, Roy Dale Engel, Braiden Howard, Linda Thornsberry & Jody Brown

Visitation: Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
